Delete your account and data
You can erase your JagaHealth account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app. It takes about thirty seconds and nothing is held back.
Deleting from inside the app
- Open JagaHealth and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down to the Account section.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field, then confirm. This step exists so the action cannot happen by accident.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. It does not go into the 30-day bin that individual deleted records use. Everything is erased as soon as you confirm, and it cannot be undone or recovered by us.
Export first if you want to keep anything. In the same Account section, Export my data gives you your full record set before you delete. Once the account is gone, we have no copy to send you.
What gets deleted
Everything associated with your account:
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Every family profile you created, and all records filed under them
- All uploaded documents and the stored image and PDF files themselves
- Clinic visits, prescriptions and medicines, dose logs, lab results, vitals and biometrics, conditions, appointments, and expenses and claims
- Your chat threads and the questions you asked
- Your settings and privacy preferences
- Any doctor packs you created, which stop working immediately
What may remain briefly
A small amount of data survives account deletion for a short period, and none of it is your health records:
- Encrypted backups, which age out on their normal cycle, typically within 90 days.
- Anonymised crash diagnostics, which are not linked to your identity.
- Transaction records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes, if you bought a subscription. These are held by Apple or Google and by our payment processor, not by the app.
If you have a JagaHealth+ subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so they have to be cancelled where you bought them:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → JagaHealth → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → JagaHealth → Cancel.
Cancel before you delete your account, or you will keep being billed.
If you cannot get into the app
Lost your device, or cannot sign in? Email [email protected] from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that the request is really from you, then erase the account and confirm when it is done, within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
For anything else about your data, see the Privacy Policy or the support page.
